James Oliver's Obituary
James Oliver, 82, of Longwood, Florida, entered God’s kingdom on December 16th, 2023, after fighting a courageous battle with Renal cancer.
Jim was born December 1, 1941, to Nick and Lucy Oliver. Raised in an Italian neighborhood of Cleveland and, after attending Benedictine Catholic High, enlisted and served his country in the US Army where he was deployed to both Europe and Africa. After returning home, Jim began his long and amazing 50-year career in Sales where he was a leader, mentor, and friend to so many. He was passionate and driven truly living his life “his way” .
A man with simple taste, he focused on providing his family with the best life possible without worrying about himself. Jim loved his family dearly.
Jim is survived by his children Nick (Donna), Jimmy, Michael (Lauren), Elizabeth (Davide) and Caitlin (Cullum) along with grandchildren Matthew, Megan, Kayla, Eva, James, Axel, and Emma. Siblings Joseph (Jolene) and Teresa (Tom), Cousin Mary Lou and beloved pup Tazmo.
Jim is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Michele, of 29 years as well sons Jerry and Ethan.
Funeral services for Jim will be held on Friday, January 5,2024 @ 1PM at the San Pedro Spiritual Development Center Chapel located at 95 Bishop Grady Lane, Winter Park, FL with burial at Queen of Angels located on the same property.
In lieu of flowers the family is asking for donations to be made to The Missy Project or your favorite organization in Jim’s memory.
