Jack 'Red' Buonocore's Obituary
Jack “Red” Buonocore, 88, passed away on Wednesday July 16th, 2014. Born in Brooklyn, N.Y to parents Thomas and Margaret Buonocore. Married to Marie Buonocore. Jack served in the U.S Army and was a Longshoreman at New York International Longshoreman Association. He enjoyed listening to music, horse racing, going to the casino, horseback riding, and shopping. Jack was known for his great sense of humor and he loved life. He was a fun loving guy and his family was everything to him. Jack is preceded in death by his wife, Marie. He is survived by son, Thomas Buoncore (Cathy); daughters, Barbara Diekmann (Bobby), Cindy Marie Buonocore; sisters, Jane Desiano and Maryann Mollica; 7 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren. A graveside service with military honors will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday July 23, 2014 at FL. National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL. In lieu of flowers the family requests for donations be made to Hospice of Volusia/ Flagler at www.hovf.org.
