To the family of Commissioner Huffman:
I was saddened to hear of the passing of Commissioner Huffman. He was a Commissioner of the FWC during my tenure as director. I can only echo the comments expressed in Pulver’s article in the News-Journal. He displayed wisdom, common sense, compassion and a commitment to do the right thing throughout his service on the Commission. He was also a good and considerate friend. Florida has lost a faithful steward and good man much too soon. I am so sorry for your loss. Marie and I send our deepest sympathy.
