Herbert Collins' Obituary
Herbert G. Collins was a one of kind man. There is nobody that could be as great and wonderful as he was. He was a great husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He will truly be missed by all whom knew him. He may not be with us physically, but he will always be with us in our hearts and memories.
Bio:
Herb Collins was born in Detroit Michigan on June 27th, 1962. Soon after Herb moved to Kentucky, where he met his beloved wife Connie Burger the year of 1979, and was soon married September 21st, 1981. Several years after their marriage, Connie announced to Herb she was pregnant. August 29th, 1987 a baby girl was born. Herb and Connie named their child after Connie’s mother Barbara Jean. After living in Kentucky for many years, the two of them decided for a new a change, Florida. Herb found a great job at University Hotel as a sous chef. Five years passed and yet again Connie had great news for Herb, another child would be arriving soon. The birth of Herbert Grandville Jr on June 16th, 1995. Soon after the birth of Herbie, Connie announced the birth of their third child. Anthony James was born on July 2nd. 1996. Following the birth of Tony, the family decided to move to Orlando, Fl. Herb obtained a great job at Sam Seltzers as an executive chef. The years followed by many joy full memories. Buying a fabulous home in Deltona, fl. Herb had the pleasure of watching his daughter graduate, go off to college, and the birth of his grandbaby Madison Joelle. Herb was able to see his son Herbie journey off into high school, and his son Tony earn straight A’s. Unfortunately God had a better plan for Herb. October 6th, 2010 Herb lost his fight to Heart disease and walk beside Jesus, and look down upon us from above.
