Henry P Petit's Obituary
Henry P. Petit 88, of Debary passed away on August 2, 2020. He was born on March 28, 1932 in Brooklyn, NY to parents Mary and Henry Petit. Henry is survived by his children, Diane (Roy) Cruciata, Henry (Susan) Petit and Janis (Joseph) Sokolowski; brother, Eugene B. Petit; grandchildren, Raymond, Matthew and Robert Cruciata, William and Michael Ryan, Henry, Brendan and Amanda Petit, Joseph, Stephen and Thomas Sokolowski; great-grandchildren, Brooke, Meadow, Deven, Rocco, Vincent, Emma, Paige, Claire, Charlotte, Jacob, Owen, Darian and Aubrie. He is preceded in death by his wife Joan Petit; brother, John Petit and sister, Lorraine Emerson. Henry served in the United States Navy from 1950-1954, was a NYCPD from 1955-1975, Republic Insurance from 1975-1989, played with the Volusia County Senior Softball League from 1993 -2009 and the AMF Bowling League from 2013 - 2020. He attended John J. College where he received an Associate’s Degree. Henry enjoyed softball and bowling. A Funeral Service will be held Friday, 1:00pm, August 7, 2020 at St. Ann’s Catholic Church 26 Dogwood Trail, Debary, Fl 32713.
