Helen C. Neuhauser's Obituary
Helen C. Marker Neuhauser, 88, of DeBary, FL, formerly of the Glyndon area and Westminster, MD died at Fish Memorial Hospital, Orange City, FL on Sunday, December 1, 2013.
Born on March 6, 1925, in Westminster, MD, she was the daughter of the late C. Walter Marker and the late Alice Starner Marker. She was the wife of the late Harrison “Bud” Neuhauser, who died in 2006.
She is a graduate of Westminster High School. She began a 40 year career as a telephone operator with C & P Telephone Company, which became Bell Atlantic, which became Verizon Services, retiring in1982.
Surviving is a daughter Sally Marker-Showalter and husband David Showalter, of DeBary FL; a sister Charlotte Gehr, Westminster, MD; and sister Louise Strickhouser of (Harney) Taneytown, MD; and a stepson Thomas Neuhauser and wife Bernadette of Frenchtown, NJ. She is also survived by 5 step-grandchildren; two step-greatgrandchildren; and four nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by infant brother Calvin Marker; also brother Kenneth Marker who died during World War II; and sister Isabelle Marker Sprinkel.
Cremation services are by Baldauff Funeral Home and Crematory, Orange City, FL. A memorial service will be held in Maryland at a later date.
