Harry Edward Zaniewski's Obituary
Harry Edward Zaniewski, 72, passed away peacefully at home on October 13, 2015. Harry was born on November 16, 1942 in Lowell, Mass to Alice and the late Edward Zaniewski. He served in the U.S. Army during Vietnam where he was awarded many medals and a Purple Heart. After that he worked at Carpenter Steel in Bridgeport, CT and retired in Deland, Florida. It was his honor to serve as Quartermaster of the VFW Post 8093 in Debary, FL.
He is survived by his loving wife, Gene; Children Carla Farrace, Joseph Zaniewski (Mary) and Stacey Scirocco (Pasquale); Stepchildren Anthony LeRoy, Troy LeRoy, and Jodi Holmes (Donald); Sisters Karen (Michael) and Lee (Joseph) of Dracut, MA; Brother Edward Zaniewski (Ellen) of Sandwich, MA; Grandchildren Jacquelyne, Brandon, Sky, Max and Charlie along with his aunt and several nieces and nephews.
There will be a memorial service and his burial will be held in a private ceremony at the Jacksonville National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers please send donations to Debary VFW Post 8093 http://vfwpost8093.com/.
