Gwendolyn Clifton's Obituary
Gwendolyn (Ferrell) Clifton, 86, passed away on July 11, 2025 in Deland. A loving wife to Delbert C. Clifton, mother to Susan M. Clifton and James F Clifton. Gwendolyn was born April 13, 1939, in Kansas City, KS to Norman Ferrell and Marie (Webb) Ferrell.
She married Delbert in Leroy, IL on June 03, 1958. Gwendolyn is survived by her husband, and her sister-in-laws Ardella Pennington and Wanda Hicks, her grandchildren, Katherine (Pember) Cotto, Jacob Pember, Jennifer Clifton, Stacey Clifton, Alex Clifton and Jillian Clifton.
Gwendolyn is proceeded in death by her parents and her son John J. Clifton and Grandson Jeremy M. Pember. She was honored with the Women of the Moose College of Regent award and a lifetime Auxiliary member of the VFW. She will be remembered for her Volunteer work at Advent Health in Deland Retail Store where she and Ardella served many years.
Celebration of Life Services will be held at Hawthorne Hills Clubhouse, 560 Hawthorne Dr. Deland, FL on July 19, 2pm-4pm.
