Gloria E. Walker's Obituary
In loving memory of Gloria E. Walker, born January 12, 1946, in Bennington, Vermont to Marion and Charles Charest who passed away December 7, 2021. Gloria, survived by her husband of nearly 56 years, Philip D. Walker, daughter Genipher Brown and son in law Michael Brown of Orange County, California, son Todd Walker and daughter in law Wendy Walker of DeBary, Florida, daughter Bethany Cofresi and son in law Dr. Franklin Cofresi of Anchorage, Alaska and her grandchildren Alexandra Brown, graduate of Georgia Tech, Taylor Brown, graduate of Lipscomb University, Roberto Cofresi, 13, and Giada Cofresi, 11. Also survived by her brother, Nicholas Charest of Bennington, Vermont. Gloria was a retired Early Childhood Education Teacher, an Instructor at Diablo Valley Community College, Pleasant Hill, California, in Early Childhood Education, a Sunday School Teacher at various Catholic Churches for over 30 years, and an avid gardener. Her flower and butterfly gardens were the envy of most who passed by. She cherished her time with her grandchildren; chasing, laughing, and spoiling them as they grew. Gloria will be greatly missed.
