Gloria Jean Converse's Obituary
Gloria Jean Converse age 86 of Deltona, Florida passed away Monday November 27, 2023. She was born October 27, 1937 in Decatur, Illinois the daughter of the late Lloyd and Marie (Carle) Stevens. Gloria is survived by her children; Errol Burdette Converse (Helen), Jennifer Dawn Lichtenwald (Jason). 10 Grandchildren and 12 Great-Grandchildren. Gloria was preceded in death by her husband; James Leonard Converse on September 6, 2023. Also preceded in death by a grandson; Jason Lichtenwald, Jr., Sisters; Dorothy May Stevens, Vivian Ilene Stevens, Vera Amber Stevens Brother; Thomas Stevens. Gloria was a Sabbath School leader and Deaconess in SDA Church. She enjoyed bird watching, avid reader, wild flowers, and a devout Christian. A celebration of life service will be held 11:00AM Saturday December 2, 2023 at the Baldauff Family Funeral Home 1233 Saxon Boulevard Orange City, Florida. Burial to follow at Hollywood Cemetery, Orange City, Florida.
