I will miss Jerry’s sense of humor, his sense of community and his sense of fairness. He loved his community and was committed to making it a better place. And that sense of community was manifested in his support for literacy through the Library. DeBary has a library, much in part because both Sue and Jerry would not take NO for an answer. Jerry worked hard to make it happen turning those no’s into yes’s. That will be Jerry’s endearing legacy…his love for DeBary, learning and the library. He was a mighty man.
