George Frank Sites' Obituary
George Frank Sites, 95, of Deltona, FL passed away on Monday, May 8, 2023. He was preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Doris L. (Hughey) Sites, his sister Janice Beal and brother Rich Sites.
Born in Newmanstown, PA he was the son of the late Harry and Annie (Bright) Sites.
George was a United States Navy Veteran serving during the Korean War. He worked for the Orlando Sentinel for 25 years and as a Chief Petty Officer with the United States Navy until he retired in 1969.
He was a member of the Landmark Lodge No. 383 in Deltona, FL.
George is survived by his son G. Sean Sites (Lori); grandchildren Alexx Sites (Kate) and Rio Landa (Isreal); great grandchildren Mateo and Luci.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, May 13, 2023, from 12:00pm to 1:00pm at Baldauff Family Funeral Home & Crematory, 1233 Saxon Blvd., Orange City, FL 32763. A funeral service will begin on Saturday, May 13, at 1:00pm at Baldauff with a Masonic Service beginning at 12:00pm. Interment will follow at Deltona Memorial Gardens with a flag folding & taps ceremony provided by US Navy.
