My heart aches without you here. You were my rock and the one who always made me smile. I will miss your stories, history lessons and most of all your laugh. If the world was filled with men of your character I believe it would be a much safer, happier place. You define what a husband, brother, and father should be and I am so thankful that you were mine. I will love you forever dad.
I remember the most about George is his smile and willingness to help no matter what! What a great family man of God. I pray that God will bless all of his family with the peace that can only come from God, and lots of memories of the beautiful legacy he left! Miss you already George!
i am greatful to have my great-uncle and godfather for as long as did and that he was a part of my daughter making uncle george a great-great, which sums him up well. being that i spent many simmers in fla uncle george always right on hand for me: to teach me about compost, bugs and always made sure i had a fun time. as i got older i really appricated uncle georges humbling nature, his humor and his stories of the navy! may you rest in peace, say hello to my grandma. youll remain a special part of my life. And im so sorry i csn not make it down.
