So sorry to hear about Gales passing. My prayers go out to her family.
I just found out from a classmate that Gale passed away. I always thought she was one of the most beautiful girls in the Allegan High School, Allegan Michigan, Class of 1962. I first met Gale in grade school at West Ward School, Allegan. Until today, I had no idea that she was born in California. I smiled looking at our 62' yearbook to see all of Gale's activities listed: Future Nurses Club, Junior Red Cross were chief among them. It was no surprise to see that she was the St. Valentine's Day Dance Sweetheart. Not only was she beautiful, but gentle and kind. Her obituary informs me that she has 3 daughters and 7 grandchildren. How much you all must miss her! We are preparing for our 57th Class of 62 reunion on August 24, 2019. I will relate all this information to her classmates. May God comfort and bless all of you. My daughter, Jennifer Martin, called to tell me she had seen the passing of Gale on Facebook. Gale was my preceptor at Orlando Health in 1986 when I transferred into Labor and Delivery. She was a skilled RN who did a wonderful job of teaching me. More than 20 yrs later, she trained me for another position, again, passing on her experience in a kindly manner. To her familly, please accept my heartfelt sympathy. I am so sorry for your loss.
My genuine and deep condolences. I'll never forget the relief I/we felt when she took us in during Hurricane Francis. We were not even her "blood" family but she accepted us anyway. She was an amazing nurse and changed a lot of lives. I hope she finds rest and that you find peace in your hearts. <3
