Ellen Marie Rushing , 84, passed away on Tuesday May 6, 2014 in Deltona, Florida. Born in Barrackville, West Virginia to parents William Clyde Floyd and Ethel B. Rogers. Ellen was retired from Volusia County School Food Services.Her hobbies included playing dominoes and choir with her church friends at Deltona Alliance Church. She was preceded in death by Husband, Larry Kent Rushing. Ellen is survived by Sons, Gregory Kent Rushing, Donald Brian Rushing and Douglas R. Rushing; Sister, Elladeen Neely (Barrackville, WV); 5 Grandchildren and 3 Great Grandchildren. A Graveside Service will be held 2PM Saturday May 10, 2014 at Deltona Memorial Gardens, 1295 Saxon Blvd. Orange City, FL 32763. In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to Halifax Health Hospice, 1625 Veterans Memorial Parkway, Orange City, FL 32763 or Diane Eberhardt, Caregiver, 950 North Union Circle, Deltona, FL 32725.
