Eleanor Cecilia Wurm's Obituary
Eleanor C. Wurm, 87, of Wellington, died Wednesday, January 16, 2013 at the Elms Retirement Village. A daughter of the late Peter and Catherine (nee Durst) Kirschensteiner, Eleanor was born in Cleveland on March 22, 1925, Eleanor lived in Cleveland most of her life and spent 20 years in Florida.
A very crafty woman, Eleanor enjoyed many craft activities including crocheting, knitting and sewing. She also took pleasure in bowling and playing cards, Survivors include her children, Patricia (Richard) Barzyk, of Wellington, John Wurm, of AZ, Kenneth (Janet) Wurm, of Plain City, Robert (Tianne) Wurm, of CO, and Donald (Glenda) Wurm, of AZ; 11 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Eleanor was preceded in death by her loving husband of 60 years, John J. Wurm; daughter, Mary Ann Wurm and siblings, Mary Whalen, John Kirschensteiner, Theresa Grenzenbach, Margaret Griesmer, Herman Kirschensteiner, Agnes Figler, Rita Kirschensteiner, and Helen Heiman.
A visitation will be held at Baldauff Family Funeral Home & Crematory, 1233 Saxon Boulevard Orange City , FL 32763 on January 21, 2013 at 2:00 PM and services will be held on January 22, 2013 at St. Anne’s Catholic Church, 26 Dogwood Trail DeBary, FL 32713.
