I often enjoyed playing cards and golf with Ed and will miss him deeply (Ed Burgess)
Although we didn't meet the Swains until they moved to Florida, we also lived in Keowee Key where we enjoyed many mutual friends. In the far too short time we have lived in John Knox Village, the Swain family including young Ed became very close to us. Bill played golf with Ed and we dined together many times. Laughter and heart felt exchanges were commonplace. We were fortunate to enjoy celebrating several holidays in their home and simply spending quality time with Ed, Eleanor, and Ed. Our heartfelt sympathies of loosing a very special person are sent to Eleanor, Ed, and Bill's family.
