Life Legacy
Edith Delores "Dee" Bateman, of Orange City, Florida formerly of Deltona, Florida, The Plains, VA, and Gettysburg, PA, passed away peacefully on September 20, 2016 at the age of 84. She was the daughter of the late Clair Jacob Clapsaddle and Edith Powers Munshour. Mrs. Bateman was an avid bridge player and golfer and was previously a member of the Deland Country Club. She was employed as an administrative assistant in several Virginia school systems during her years in The Plains, Virginia. She was preceded in death by two husbands, Charles Graham and Nelson Bateman. She is survived by her brother, Barry Clapsaddle of Arendtsville, PA, a nephew Craig Clapsaddle of Raleigh NC, a niece Koren Garfinkle of Arendtsville,. PA and an aunt, Sarah Clapsaddle of Orange City, FLorida. Arrangements are being handled by Baldauff Family Funeral Home and Crematory of Orange City. Florida. Interment will be near her mother at Flohrs Luthern Church Cemetery in McKnightstown, PA.
