I wish to express my sincere sympathy to Nancy, Greg, Budd,LSarah and the rest of the family for the loss of grandpa. The sadness of the passing of grandpa is felt by many. Sorry that I was unable to attend the service but may your hearts be filled with warm thoughts and treasured memories.

Tonight is our Memorial service for GP. He was truly the best father anyone could have. I always felt fortunate to have him for a dad. From the early years when I followed after him to go fishing and hunting to the middle years when he was my inspiration and provided such patient love to all of us when our own children were small, to the final years when he was a patient and kind soul going along with whatever we all wanted...he was always there for us. I will think of him whenever I see a really nice garden or a beautiful flower. He was a nature lover and lived a beautiful life in harmony with all. We all loved him greatly and will miss him terribly but we are happy he is now reunited with Mom and Patty and the many others who went before him.
I think I could write a book about my Grandpa! He was the best!! I remember following him around his garden when I was small, being excited when he came to visit us and laughing at his funny poems and all his army stories. He was my first visitor the morning after I had each one of my children, holding them in his arms. He was always always there whenever I or the kids needed him- and believe me WE NEEDED him ALOT!!! He was always there to save the day!! I miss you Grandpa! You will always have a special place in my heart! I know you are happy now at home in heaven with Granny and Mom. Rest in Peace Fuzzy. Love you Forever
