Dorothy Mae Weaver's Obituary
Dorothy Weaver nee Tascoe, 71, of Deltona, FL passed away on August 5, 2011. She was born on April 28, 1940 in Montclair, NJ to parents Robert and Dorothy Tascoe, Sr. She graduated Montclair High School in 1958. Dorothy worked as a Supervisor for the New Jersey Department of Developmental Disabilities and retired in September, 2009. She moved to the local area in December, 2009 from Plainfield, NJ. Mrs. Weaver was of the Baptist faith. In her spare time she enjoyed crocheting and going to the Bingo hall. Dorothy will always be remembered as a loving mother, daughter and sister. She is preceded in death by her father, her loving husband of 34 years, Frederick Weaver and son, Shawn Weaver. She is survived by her mother; daughter, Denise Tascoe; brother, Robert Tascoe, Jr.; sisters, Barbara Sellers and Donna Wood (Larry); grandchildren; Shannon and Brandon Nettles; aunts, Marjory Chavies and Annie Bee Smith and many cousins, nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers the family request that donations be made in her honor to the American Lung Association, 851 Outer Road, Orlando, FL 32814. A memorial service will be held in her honor on Friday, August 12, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. in the Baldauff Funeral Home Small Chapel with Minister Aimee L. Woodton officiating. Cremation arrangements are under the care of Baldauff Family Funeral Home and Crematory, 1233 Saxon Blvd., Orange City, FL 32763.
