Davie was born in Charleston, WV on May 13th, 1937. He graduated from Vinson High School
in Huntington, WV. He attended Marshall University, and served in the US Airforce. Davie
was employed as an assistant manager at the Allen Lund Company.
Davie was very devoted to his church, where he ran the church van for many years,
transporting the youth of the community. He touched many lives through his outreach and
took great pride in serving the Lord.
He is predeceased by his mother, father, sister, and brother. He is survived by his wife, Dawn;
son David (Sherri); daughters Cindy (Sanford) Brown, Rebecca (Fahad) Vania, Jennifer and
Catherine; 3 granddaughters, 2 grandsons, and 1 great grandson.
