David Ford's Obituary
David “Dave” Floyd Ford, 79, passed away on Thursday, February 19, 2026, in Orange City, Florida. Born on February 2, 1947 in Oswego, New York, Dave was the son of Donald and Hazel Ford.
A proud veteran, Dave served in the US Navy and built a respected career as an
electrician with IBEW Local #328 and Local #43.
Outside of work, Dave was an avid boater, fisherman, hunter, and skeet shooter.
Dave is survived by his former wife, Irene, and their children Dawn (Antonio) Iannitti, Lori (Robert) McRobbie, and Eric (Lori) Ford, as well as seven grandchildren and three great- grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother, Richard (Henry) Ford.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his brothers, William (Bill) and Dion Ford.
The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to Dave's many friends for their continued fellowship and support through the years.
A private service will be held to honor his life.
