Daniel Francis O'Connell's Obituary
Daniel Francis O'Connell died at his residence in Greer, South Carolina on Sat., May 26, 2012.
Mr. O'Connell was born in New York, New York and was employed for 35 years with the New York City Police Department. He graduated from St. Johns University, Queens, New York and served in the U.S. Army during WWII.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Mary (Gallagher) and his wife,
Hazel (McGowan)O'Connell. Mr. O'Connell is survived by his daughter, Mary Deluca and three sons, Daniel, Kevin and Brian, ten grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 A.M., on Thursday, May 31 at Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic Church, 1310 Maximilian St, Deltona, with interment to follow at Deltona Memorial Gardens, Orange City.
