Dad...You were the one who taught me to swim, ride a bike, and drive a car. You were there for me when my mom passed away, when I got married, and when Ashley was born. You've been there for me whenever I needed to talk, day or night. I miss the stories about how things were when you were younger. I miss hearing you talk about music, your most favorite thing of all. I miss you dad and I love you.
Clyde we all miss you so much, I know you are entertaining everyone up there with you and creating lots of laughs :) You will never be forgotten, you are definately one of a kind!!!! "You Are My Sunshine" is being played everyday by Ciara. We love and miss you!
My brother for 52 years. Say "Hey" to Doyle for me.
So sorry to hear about Clyde. Hold him in your hearts and memories. My sympathies to all of you. Corky
I love this man so much. He was such a huge blessing in my life and I don't know who I would be if he hadn't always been there for me. I remember the days when he would sing with me, our first concert to see Alan Jackson, and all of the other wonderful memories he has given me. Words cannot express how much I will miss him...I almost can't imagine going on without him. But knowing that there are so many people who loved him and knew how amazing he was makes me understand why he was put on this Earth. It was to be a great father, grandfather, uncle, musician, man of God, and to put a smile on everyone's face. I love you so much Grandpa, I'll be seeing you.
Though we grew apart over the years, I still remember when I was a little girl sitting on uncle Clydes lap and being happy to stay the night with them. I remember the few chords he taught me on the acoustic, that helped shape my love for music over the years. There are no words that can express my sympathy for you. I may not get to see you guys, but please know you are always in my heart, thoughts, and prayers. To everything there is a season. He led a long good life, and touched many people. I hope that helps to ease the pain. God bless you guys...and I love you
Sending love and prayers your way. We love you.
