Christopher Louis Canfora's Obituary
Christopher Louis Canfora 52 of DeBary passed away March 21, 2023. He was born July 25, 1970
in Barberton, Ohio the son of Victor and Linda Canfora.
Christopher is preceded in death by his father Victor Canfora and his Grandchild Jennings.
He is survived by his mother Linda Canfora; son Jacob Canfora; daughter Melyndia Roberts;
brother Kevin Canfora; nieces Lindsey Canfora, Truelee Canfora, and Journey Canfora; Grandchildren Christopher Jase, Annabelle, and Felicity; Aunt, Uncle, and Cousins.
Chris graduated from Seminole State college of Florida. He worked as a track safety manager at
Orlando Speed World Dragway and Rural/Metro. He formerly worked at Drag Racing and Orlando
Medical Institute. Chris was a staple at the track and was well liked by all who knew him. He
had the blackest of black clouds. He was a friend of DeLand High School and was a valued
Member of the AMR Sumter team. Chris was a perfect example of what it means to be a wonderful
person. He had a calming presence and was extremely kind, he touched the hearts of so many
and was an inspiration to everyone who knew him.
Chris had a funny and unique personality and was never afraid to show it and his friends loved
that about him. His presence, wisdom, and his love for taking care of people at the track will
be deeply missed.
A gathering of Family and Friends will take place at Baldauff Family Funeral Home,
1233 Saxon Boulevard, Orange City, Florida on April 8, 2023 from 11:00 am – 12:00 pm with
A Memorial Service at 12:00 pm
