Cherie Marie Smith's Obituary
Smith-Holcomb, Cherie Marie passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side on April 26, in Orange City, FL.
Cherie was born to her loving parents James and Donna Holcomb in Landstuhl, Germany. She attended Glens Falls High School. Upon graduation she went to Adirondack Community College. She moved to Florida 24 years ago.
Cherie was employed as a server in many restaurants, most recently at Perkins, Orange City. Cherie married the love of her life, Donald E. Smith and they have two wonderful children: Nathaniel, age 14 and Jacob, age 11.
Cherie loved to read, walk on the beach and most of all just spend time with her family and friends. She is survived by her parents James and Donna Holcomb of South Glens Falls, NY, her husband Donald and their children Nathaniel and Jacob of Deltona, FL. Her sisters Teresa Lawton of Brockton, MA, Tabitha Bartwitz of Queensbury, NY and her brother James Holcomb of South Glens Falls, NY. Preceded in death by her sister Kelli.
A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, April 30 at 3 PM at Baldauff Funeral Home, 1233 Saxon Blvd., Orange City, FL 32763.In lieu of flowers please make a donation in Cherie’s name to Hospice of Volusia/Flagler, 3800 Woodbriar Trail, Port Orange, FL 32129
