Charles Persen's Obituary
Charles Persen, 85, of Deltona, passed away on August 24, 2024, just one week after suffering a massive hemorrhagic stroke. He was born on December 12, 1938 in Muscatine, Iowa to parents Edward and Mafalda Persen. He was very proud to be a Registered Nurse, as well as having a Bachelor of Law degree. Charles is survived by his wife, Karen Persen of 53 years; children, Todd and Tracy; 4 grandchildren. He was so very proud of both his children and all they accomplished, and he loved being a grandpa- enjoying time with them, laughing, hugging and sharing stories. Chuck always wanted to help people. He often donated to St. Jude, AARP Foundation and the Red Cross. Look to your communities to see where help is needed. “Pay it Forward” in his honor.
