Life Legacy
Charles Finlayson went home to his Savior on June 28, 2017 at the age of 92. He leaves behind his faithful and loving wife, Elsie, brothers, Bruce and Gerald, Sister, Edith Dean, Daughter June (John) Seefried, Son Charles, Daughter Nancy (Robert) Gorski, granddaughters, Vickie (Victor) Bennett, Becky (Jeff) Kremer, Grandsons, Gary (Linda) Heale, Donald Ward, Stephen (Esther) Seefried, Kevin (Nicole) Seefried, many great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.Mr. Finlayson, a graduate of Roberts Wesleyan College in North Chili, New York, taught Jr. High Social Studies at Chuchville-Chili Central School (1962-1982) before moving to Florida. Mr. Finlayson, a Purple Heart Veteran of WWII, will be buried in the Arlington National Cemetery, Wash. D.C.. A Memorial Service will be held at the Deltona Presbyterian Church, Sat, July 15 @ 11:00 a.m.
