Brian Ashley Yawn's Obituary
Brian Ashley Yawn was born October 3, 1980, in Panama City, Florida, and passed away August 16, 2022. Brian is survived by his mother, Dianne; his uncle, Frankie (Melissa); his sisters, Amy and Danielle (Zach); his cousin, Alisha ( David); and his "nieces and nephews", Aaron, Grace, and Laura, who affectionately referred to him as "Luke Brian", cousin Dustin (Luka) and their children, Malachi, Kylah, and Isaiah. Brian is preceded in death by his grandparents, Willie Monroe and Ruby Louise Yawn; and Robert and Alma Stone. Brian loved hunting, fishing, and SEC football and he was a die hard Florida Gator fan. Brian played baseball starting at a very young age, beginning with little league and continuing throughout all stars, where he made ALL Stars more than once. Brian also loved racing go karts, riding through the woods, and making people smile. A visitation for family and friends will be held Saturday 10:00AM-12:00 PM August 20th, 2022 at the Baldauff Family Funeral Home 1233 Saxon Blvd. Orange City, Florida. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Brian's honor to the Type 1 Diabetes Research Fund (https://www.jdrf.org) or to St. Jude's Children's Hospital (https://www.stjude.org.) A celebration of life will be held after the visitation. Please bring all of your stories and memories of Brian to share with our family in this difficult time.
