Blanca Iris Guerrero age 70 loving mother to 3 daughters Elizabeth, Blanca and Laurie and an adoring wife to her one and only love Felix Guerrero. passed away late afternoon Christmas Day in her home with her daughter Blanca, son-in-law Gershon and 3 of her grandchildren present.
Blanca was born in 1952 in Lares, Puerto Rico and was the daughter of Juan and Catalina Hernandez. Blanca grew up in New York surrounded by her large family. She had 5 brothers and 5 sisters.
She met her husband Felix in New York while staring out of a window as he was walking by. The look at each other and instantly fell in love with one another and married. They moved to Perth Amboy, New Jersey and started a family
As a mother, she was loving, kind, generous and strict,, a no-nonsense mother who would do anything for her children.
Blanca lost her youngest daughter Laurie in 1986. A few years later, with her husband Felix and daughter Blanca moved to Florida.
Blanca became a grandmother in 1994 and was thrilled to become a grandmother. She eventually became the grandmother of 7 wonderful children. She has 3 granddaughters
Ryan Meraz, Madisyn Nieves, and Ayanna Nieves; 4 grandsons Matthew Garcia, Jacob Garcia, Eladio Nieves III, and Felix Nieves.
Blanca became a widow in 2005 when the love of her life of 35 years passed away.
Blanca first became a great grandmother to a beautiful baby girl in 2013. She was so excited to become a great grandmother and in 2020 she became a great grandmother for the second time to a beautiful baby boy. And in 2021 she became a great grandmother fo the third time to a beautiful baby boy.
Blanca loved being a mother, wife, and grandmother. She also enjoyed cooking.
She had many great friendships throughout her life. Blanca was a very beautiful woman but not only beautiful on the outside she had a beautiful mind, soul and spirit.
Blanca is finally at rest and being reunited with the love of her life Felix and her daughter Laurie.
She will be greatly missed by many, especially her children and grandchildren. She will forever be loved and adored.
She was my best friend, my confidant, my queen. She may be goine in her physical form but her spirit will forever live on in her surviving children Elizabeth and Blanca.
