Beverly Ann Stickney Sousa's Obituary
Beverly Ann Stickney Sousa passed into her resting place on June 4, 2025 in Orlando, Florida. Beverly was born in Fort Sill, Oklahoma on January 30, 1955 from parents Mildred and Ronald Stickney.
Beverly “Bev” Ann Stickney Sousa family moved to South Florida in the early 1970’s. She went to Dillard High School and graduated from. They lived in Plantation, Florida, where her father worked for Eastern Airlines as an Airline Pilot become a captain during his 20 plus years with Eastern.
Bev met her husband Bruce Sousa at Waste Management in South Florida. They wedded in October 1, 1983. They were married for 42 beautiful years. They moved to Deltona in 1994. She took up the real estate profession and became a top producer of Coldwell Banker brokerage in Orange City, Florida.
Bev enjoyed cruising all of the Caribbean, during her vacation time. Taking cruises to Alaska and Hawaii.
She loved Cuban, Indian, and Mexican Cuisine. Bev retired from real estate n 2015 due to health issues. She Enjoyed a slower paced life with husband and their dog, Crickett, after retirement.
Bev was a caring person by nature. She started at a young age of 7 years old watching over her siblings. When she moved to Deltona, she cared for her father and mother-in-law. And when her aunt Dawn developed health issues, they took her in until she passed and later, she took on caring for her sister Chris.
My wife was a loving, caring person. May she rest in peace, waiting for the call to rise again in the resurrection of life. John 5:28,29.
Beverly leaves to cherish the memories of her life, husband, Bruce Sousa; sister, Chris Stickney; brothers, Ronald Stickney, Robert Stickney, Richard Stickney and Ryan Mark Stickney; as well as countless family members and friends that loved her deeply.
