Bettie Anne Burton Fleming and David enjoyed 58 years of marriage prior to his death. They moved several times during David’s career including Wilmington, DE. (twice) and Greenville, NC. They retired and moved to Lake Placid, FL. and finally to continuing care and retirement community John Knox Village in Orange City, FL. where she resided for 19 years. She loved to volunteer and did so her entire life. She also loved working on the family genealogy and was a long term member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, Jamestown Society, 1st Families of Augusta County Virginia, Mayflower Society and Colonial Dames to name a few. She was long term member of the Eastern Star in Greenville NC. Bettie will be forever missed and never forgotten.
