Arthur Sidney Canfield's Obituary
Arthur Sidney Canfield of Deltona, Fl, passed away peacefully on May 19, 2021 at
the age of 89. Arthur was born in New Brunswick, NJ on October 3, 1931 to
Anna & James Canfield. He served his country proudly as a Sergeant in the United States Army from May of 1952 until his honorable discharge in May of 1954. He married the love of his life, Evelyn Cordo in 1951 and lived most of his life in Edison, NJ where he worked for Hermann Services, Inc. in Dayton, NJ as a Truck Driver before retiring and moving to Florida in 1986.
Arthur loved spending time with his friends and family. His hobby was playing golf. He would beat the younger crowd every time. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather.
Arthur is pre-deceased by his wife, Evelyn and his mother and father, Anna & James Canfield. Arthur is survived by Son James Canfield, Son Earl Canfield, Daughter Pamela (Canfield)Alicchio; Daughter-in-laws, Cindi Canfield and Lori Canfield. Son-in-law Dennis Alicchio. Five grandchildren, Dawn (Sempervive) Kiss & husband Edward, Christopher Canfield, Kasey (Canfield) Grebosz & husband Keith, Justin Alicchio & wife Tina, and Erica (Alicchio) Gustafson & husband Michael. Three Great Grandchildren, Lukas & McKenna Grebosz, Annaliese Alicchio and one Great Grandchild on the way in September of 2021.
