Colleen Louise Anderson's Obituary
Colleen Louise Anderson 89 of Deltona passed away February 16, 2016. She was born on December 23, 1926 in New Gloucester, Maine to Fred and Muriel Blake. Colleen is preceded in death by her parents Fred and Muriel, brothers Everett and Herbert, sisters Hazel and Madeline, and her Aunt Mae Gilmore and Uncle Albert Gilmore. She is survived by her husband Richard W. Anderson and her sons Mark Steven Anderson and Ross Stuart Anderson. Colleen worked for Bird-Johnson and Visiting Nurses Association as an accountant. She enjoyed writing, poetry, correspondence with extended family, and singing. Colleen was a member of the Red Hat Society and acted with the Footlighters. She was also an amateur artist. Colleen was extensively involved in the United Church of Christ in Deltona.
A Memorial Service will be held Monday 6:00 PM February 22, 2016 at Deltona United Church of Christ led by Reverend Frank Faine. Funeral service will be held in Maine at a later date.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to The United Church of Christ Deltona Memorial Fund or The American Cancer Society.
