Alfred E. Spitza Sr.'s Obituary
Alfred E. Spitza, Sr, loving husband of Carol (Dohr) for 60 Years passed away on Thursday April 8, 2021. He is survived by his son Alfred Jr and his wife Veronica. He is also survived by Carol’s three sisters Barbara Muth, Catherine (Olen Clyde) Watts and Mary (Stephen) Uhrina. He is preceded in death by baby Stephen Joseph; parents Edward and Regina Spitza; sister Rosemary (Richard) Cera; brother Eugene (Mary Ann) Spitza and brother-in-law Thomas Muth; further survived by loving nieces and nephews.
Al worked for Continental Can Company for 32 years and retired to live in Florida at the age of 52. Al enjoyed a long retirement as a car enthusiast, wood carver, restorer of a 1949 Allis Chalmers Farm Tractor, builder of model planes and a fan of old western movies. Al was always able to solve any issue that came up around the house using creative ideas.
His Funeral is being planned for a later date at Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic Church
In lieu of flowers, the family asks any donations be made in Al’s name to Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic Church 1310 Maximilian St., Deltona, Florida 32725.
