I first met Travis on the Pop Warner football field when he was in the 7th or 8th grade (my daughter was a cheerleader for his team and my son played football on another team with his brother, Bryce). With that boyish grin and those eyes that told you he was comfortable being persuasive, I quickly nicknamed him "Handsome" - he naturally liked that nickname and it stuck. The last time I saw Travis was about two or three years ago... I greeted him with "Hello Handsome" and he grinned that same boyish grin and said "I was wondering if you'd remember." I'll always remember! Travis is not someone who can be easily forgotten. He has touched SO many lives and has created individual memories for everyone who has ever crossed his path. I know he loved his family dearly and spoke of his mother with such great admiration, of his father with such great respect, of his brother, Bryce with brotherly love and of his son, Travis, with great pride. They say Memories are made so we can find each other later... I think that's a beautiful thought and I pray for Travis' family as you all hold onto your memories, re-tell your stories to his son and keep his spirit alive in your hearts.Sending much love and prayers for comfort.
