My family in NY never knew our Canadian family that well but when Sylvia's father heard that me and my husband were in Niagara Falls he came to get us and brought us back. He called his family and they all came to meet Grace's granddaughter and her husband. It was the middle of the week and everyone was working but everyone came. I met Sylvia and her sisters for the first time. As I got to know her I could see she was the 'historian' and had so many stories. Over the years we stayed in contact..occasionally..but really came closer after the passing of my mom. When I looked up Sylvia was there ready to do anything and everything. That was Sylvia. We would call each other and after she got sick I sent her prayers as I prayed for her and Ken. When she could we would speak otherwise I would talk to Ken...her rock. I will miss Sylvia, her sense of humor and her laugh. She is now with big sister and mom and dad. Rest dear Sylvia in the arms of God. Physically you will be missed but not in our hearts.
