While I never actually ‘met’ Joan we were Facebook friends for many years. What a great loss. I’ll miss our ‘chats’.
This very special woman already is greatly missed here in DeBary. I first met her when I was running for mayor. We visited in her home and had the best discussions of city issues and personal things. She was an enthusiastic supporter and friend. We had other interactions over the past couple of years...always delightful. While she could not attend in person, she always watched our council meetings online and frequently had opinions about things affecting our city. Until we meet again...Karen Chasez
We shared many good times together - trips, dinners etc. Joan was my very best friend. I
have many memories of our adventures. I will miss her forever. Kay & George Croft
I was saddened to hear about her loss. Joan was a staple in the St.John’s River Estates community. She will be missed. The Ingrassia Family has her family in their prayers! 49 Keeble Ave❤️
Joan was my cousin and she was my mother's "sister". Mom always said she and Barb were more like my sister's that her cousins. RIP peace Cousin Joan...until we meet again
Joan was my Sisters' best friend in their Youth - My Sister Lessie was killed in an auto accident at age 19. Joan was always like a big Sister to me - because of the Friend she became to Me. We could talk about any subject and have fun and laughter. I will miss Joan - Thankful she is at Peace and Home...with many Family members including her Sister Barbara that died at an earlier age. Tell them all Hello for Me, Joan and I'll see you soon. Love You

Mama Joan and I had been Facebook friends for months and we decided it was time to meet for lunch. She was having a great day so we met at the DeBary Diner. We talked for a couple of hours face to face and have been talking every since. As time passed Mama Joan became uncomfortable driving. We had the same hair stylist Tammy Lovell so we started scheduling our appointments consecutively. Last month we went to our last appointment together. Today we were scheduled for our usual appointments. I found myself driving to her house. Needless to say I was late for my hair appointment. Tammy was her usual gracious self and understood. Mama Joan. You have so many people here in DeBary who will never forget the love you shared with them. Hugs from Jerry and Jean Lord
